SUMMARY:KALK is participating in the "Science Festival" in Week 39
DESCRIPTION:CITIZEN SCIENCE AT KALK IN WEEK 39:\nEXPLORE NÆSEKALK AND TAKE PART IN RESEARCH \nIn this program, upper-grade students will learn how\, what\, and why we can find traces of 63-million-year-old animals in the middle of Faxe. We’ll take a closer look at a particularly well-preserved section of the fossils from the Næse Limestone. We’ll follow in the geologist’s footsteps and use their methods as we learn about the subsurface, examine, identify, and sort the limestone and fossils. The program covers biology, geography, and chemistry/physics and serves as an example of the interdisciplinary challenges geologists often face. \nThe program lasts 2 hours and is designed for upper elementary students. It is a free, nationwide program. Only one class is allowed in the museum at a time. The program is offered every weekday during Week 39 \nfrom 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–3 p.m. \nNo preparation required.

SUMMARY:Culture Night in Haslev
DESCRIPTION:East Zealand Museums will have a booth at B&W on Jernbanegade\, where you can help shape the museum of the future. \nThe Museums of East Zealand are turning 100\, and we’d like to celebrate with you. Stop by the booth and write your idea for what a museum should be able to do in the future on a ribbon\, then weave it into our communal tapestry along with all the other visitors’ thoughts and dreams. \nWe’ve also brought out three special objects from the storage collection. Can you guess what they are or what they were used for? Take a guess and enter the contest for 3×2 free tickets to the museum. \nMeet us at B&W at Jernbanegade 50, 4690 Haslev. \nNote: A new object will be unveiled at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. \nThe event is free.
