Guidet tour
Mission Stevnsfort - for kids

A Unique family experience
Explore Stevnsfort’s 1.7 kilometer long tunnels in the cliff, 18 meters below the surface. The fort was the Baltic Sea’s guardian during the Cold War, designed to protect Denmark and NATO from a potential invasion by the Warsaw Pact. Stevnsfort’s tunnels has since become part of the UNESCO World Heritage of Stevns Klint.
The children’s tour focuses on activities, and our skilled guide provides a child-friendly introduction to the Cold War, with room for questions. We recommend this option for families with children from 6 to 12 years. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
A ticket for the guided tour also grants free access to the grounds around FORT, where you can see missiles, cannons, and radars. You’re welcome to enjoy packed lunches on benches in the outdoor area.
You also have the opportunity to join the new tour about the HAWK missiles, which runs once every hour and is included in the ticket.
We recommend buying tickets to guided tous in advance as they can be fully booked due to a limit of 24 visitors per tour. Note that it is only possible to see the underground fort on a guided tour.
Please note that this tour is conducted in English.
