Join us on a tour when our skilled guide shows you around the exhibition "Denmark's fossil coral reefs", and we walk together to the viewing platform "Prismet" where we hear more stories while enjoying the beautiful view of Faxe Kalkbrud! On the tour, the guide tells both the geological - but also the cultural history of the quarry 🌞
After the tour, there is the opportunity - on your own - to immerse yourself in the photo exhibition "A land of lime and chalk" by local photographer Rudi Hemmingsen - whose pictures show some of the most beautiful aspects of Møns Klint, Stevns Klint and Faxe Kalkbrud. The tour is primarily aimed at adults.
The tour takes place at a pace that everyone can join. There is an elevator to the 1st floor of Geomuseum Faxe and outside the tour takes place on flat terrain.
The tour is therefore also suitable for wheelchairs and people with walking difficulties.
