Join us on a tour as our knowledgeable guide shows you around the exhibition “Denmark’s Fossil Coral Reefs,” and we’ll walk together to the “Prismet” observation deck, where we’ll hear more stories while enjoying the beautiful view of the Faxe Limestone Quarry! During the tour, the guide will share both the geological and cultural-historical stories of the quarry 🌞
After the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore on your own the photo exhibition “A Land of Limestone and Chalk” by local photographer Rudi Hemmingsen, whose photos showcase some of the most beautiful aspects of Møns Klint, Stevns Klint, and Faxe Kalkbrud. The tour is primarily intended for adults.
The tour is conducted at a pace that allows everyone to participate. There is an elevator to the first floor at Geomuseum Faxe, and the tour takes place on level ground outside.
The tour is therefore also suitable for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.
