The East Zealand Museums have been inspected by the Danish Working Environment Authority, and no violations of occupational safety and health regulations were found.
On September 11, the Danish Working Environment Authority paid a visit to Østsjællands Museer, and in its visit report, the Authority states that it found no violations of occupational safety and health legislation.
“It has always been my impression that the current interim leadership has acted in accordance with the rules, but it’s good to have this investigated and confirmed,” says Martin Steen Andersen, acting chairman of the board of Østsjællands Museer.
During the visit, the Danish Working Environment Authority’s inspector spoke with Acting Director Ilse Sørensen, employee representative on the board Anders Knudsen, and several employees selected by the Authority itself. The Authority submitted its visit report on September 12.
“It has been important to the board that there be no doubt whatsoever that the museum complies with occupational safety and health regulations. That is why we hired an outside firm to review the documentation that the Danish Working Environment Authority required, and we now have the Authority’s confirmation that the regulations are being followed,” says Martin Steen Andersen.
