Guided tour
Secrets of the fort

My Own Tour of Stevnsfort
Book Stevnsfort for your entire group and enjoy an unforgettable shared experience 18 meters below ground. In Stevnsfort’s 1.7-kilometer-long tunnels—which, as part of Stevns Klint, are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List—one of East Zealand’s most unique experiences awaits.
Stevnsfort was the guardian of the Baltic Sea during the Cold War—designed to protect Denmark and NATO against a potential invasion by the Warsaw Pact. A story that captivates both adults and young people (recommended for ages 12 and up), and which serves as the perfect setting for corporate events, family outings, club trips, and school field trips.
Your own guide will bring to life the grand narratives of security policy, turbulent times, and the people behind the walls—rooted in the fort’s authentic buildings, equipment, and history. A vivid and engaging experience that sparks shared conversations long after the tour is over.
The ticket price also grants access to the entire fortress grounds for the rest of the day during the museum’s opening hours—pack your picnic baskets and enjoy lunch outdoors with a view of the World Heritage Site. There are plenty of tables and benches for larger groups.
Group tours can be booked in Danish, English, and German—and we recommend booking well in advance, as capacity is limited.
