A popular summer tour is back, and it’s included in the admission price every day from July 1 through August 9, 2026.

Join us on a guided field tour and gain a unique insight into the HAWK air defense system and the history of Denmark’s missile defense.

On the grounds, you can explore the command vehicles, learn more about the signaling equipment, and get up close to the missile launchers.

The HAWK exhibition reflects the massive arms race that took place during the Cold War and serves as a tangible reminder of what was at stake.

As a NATO outpost, Stevns Fort was supposed to be ready to defend the front line with a response time of 20 minutes if World War III broke out.

That story is told during the field trip—outdoors and up close to the original equipment.

The tour is generally conducted in Danish.
