A unique running experience in the tunnels of Stevnsfort, 18 meters underground!
Now you have the chance to experience Stevns Fort and Stevns Klint up close when we host the Stevns Klint Fitness Event on Sunday, September 28—a fitness event for the whole family.
A truly unique running experience awaits when, together with the Stevns Fort Cold War Museum and Stevns Klint Experience, we open the passageways to Stevns Fort and send you on a run along the old front line.
A spectacular and truly unique experience;
– The Stevns Klint Experience, located in the heart of the Bosedal Limestone Quarry, serves as the starting and finishing point
– Stevns Fort takes participants back to the Cold War; 60 steps and 18 meters below ground in the tunnels of the old fort
– The footpath along Stevns Klint offers the most beautiful panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and the breathtaking cliff
– Højerup Old Church, dating from 1357, stands proudly on the very edge of the cliff and offers a fantastic view of the cliff and the sea

We invite runners and walkers alike—children and adults—to take part in this unique event, where world history, community, and exercise come together.
You can participate in the following distances:
Kids' Race (approx. 2 km)
5 km Run/Walk (approx.)
10 km Run/Walk (approx.)
10 km runners and walkers will set off from Boesdal Kalkbrud at 10:00 a.m. (time limit: 3 hours).
5 km runners and walkers will set off from Boesdal Kalkbrud at 12:00 p.m.
The routes will be a combination of country roads and hiking trails, offering ample opportunity to enjoy the nature, the views, and the sights along Stevns Klint.
The final routes are subject to permits and other factors and will be announced approximately one month before the event.
The children's race starts at 11 a.m. and takes place on a loop course at Boesdal Kalkbrud that is approximately 2 km long.
Parents are welcome to run with their children.
The fitness event is organized by Rødvig G&I and DGI Storstrømmen with support from FORT, Stevns Municipality, and Stevns Klint Experience.
