Explore the quarry with your own guide and find corals, snails and mussels preserved from the past as fossils. Geomuseum Faxe will introduce you to the most common fossils found in Faxe Limestone Quarry.

Then, equipped with a hammer and chisel, we go down into the quarry and look for your own 63 million-year-old fossils of animals that lived when there were coral reefs where Faxe Limestone Quarry is today.

Take the fossils home with you or have them on display at the Geomuseum.
